Position Overview
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll be the backbone of Soutradel’s sourcing operations. You’ll identify, vet, and negotiate with global suppliers to secure high-quality goods at competitive prices, ensuring ethical practices and timely delivery for Zambian businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing: Research and onboard global suppliers for industrial, medical, and agricultural products.
Cost Negotiation: Secure bulk pricing, favorable payment terms, and contracts aligned with client budgets.
Quality Assurance: Verify supplier certifications (e.g., ISO, Fair Trade) and conduct audits.
Order Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to align procurement with delivery timelines.
Sustainability Focus: Prioritize suppliers with eco-friendly practices and carbon-neutral operations.
Market Analysis: Monitor global trends (e.g., raw material costs) to advise clients on optimal sourcing times.

Requirements

• 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with international suppliers.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs compliance, and ERP systems.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
